Noted as one of the most extrodinary hotels in the world, the Emirates Palace is the second most expensive hotel in the world!
A few LTs and I headed over to the Palace before we set sail to Maya island. Upon entering the gate, we were stopped by a guard who counted how many passengers were in the car. We later found out that groups of 5 or more would not be allowed entry unless they scheduled a tour.
As we walked around, we felt quite miniture next to the oversized chairs and tables. Truly fit for royalty, the Emirates Palace is very regal and grand. Although I wouldn't be interested in staying in such a lavish place, I did enjoy the architecture!
